In Winter 2017 I took an into to Journalism class called Gateway. In which I was given the challenge to find representation in the Eugene public art community. From murals. to graffiti, to performance art, I interviewed many artists throughout Eugene, here are their stories.
Local Eugene muralist, Isla Kreigh, is captured practicing on her trailer in preparation for 2021. She is a muralist with the 20x21 movement. 20x21 is a program whose mission is to implement twenty murals before the 2021 World Championships at the new Hayward Field. They are displaying murals throughout Eugene to give representation to the artists around, showing the world that Eugene, Oregon has an incredible art community.
