I was recently hired as the Social Media and Promotions chair for the University of Oregon Music & Concerts team. The Music & Concerts team is student-run and puts on free concerts every term for students to engage the student body.
I have had to adapt quickly, due to the fact that we have a music festival, called the Willamette Valley Music Festival (WVMF). WVMF is a free music festival that will be taking place on May 18th. It is featuring four local Eugene Artists and one well known artist. The four local artists are Glit, Novacane, Breakfast Boys Leisure League and DJ Kellalit. We also have the opportunity to feature the well known rap duo, EARTHGANG.
Mocks I created for promotions
Due to my position, Social Media and Promotions Chair, the Music and Concerts team wanted to see how the Willamette Valley Music Festival advertisements would live in the real world. Here are some of the mocks I made for the team.
Here are some potential billboard mocks to show how the advertisements would live in a city.
social Engagements on The @UOCONCERTS INstagram
I have ran the @uoconcerts account since March 1st, 2019. After receiving the account and starting out at 905 followers, my engagements have increased our follower count by 65 people as of April 23rd, 2019. Due to frequent Instagram stories and promotional posts of the Willamette Valley Music Festival, the account has received around 348 more profile visits as well.

GRAPHICS BELOW MADE BY ME
In order to engage audiences, on the @uoconcerts Instagram story I would often ask what our followers were listening to. When I received a response I would create a “Song of the Day” graphic that would show what the @uoconcerts following is listening to. Here are some examples of what the audience is listening to.
As the Promotions chair, I was asked to create Hiring graphics to put on the @uoconcerts Instagram story to hire some people for next year’s team. Here is what I came up with.
